RUSAL says aluminum output rises 1% to 953,000 tns in Oct–Dec
MOSCOW, Feb 9 (PRIME) -- The aluminum output of Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL grew by 1% on the quarter to 953,000 tonnes in October–December, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Aluminum sales grew by 8.1% to 989,000 tonnes in the period.
In 2021, the aluminum output rose by 0.2% on the year to 3.764 million tonnes. Sales of primary aluminum and its alloys decreased by 0.5% to 3.904 million tonnes.
The average price for the metal rose by 41.4% to U.S. $2.553 per tonne.
